The Pentagram
Many years ago, the pentagram was once a Christian symbol. Over the years people have come to the conclusion that it is the sign of the Devil, the image of all that is evil...but it's not. Each point has a different meaning.

You should know...
That "dabbling" in magick is very dangerous. Manifestations, binding, and many others can all hurt if used improperly. Don't practice majick without full knowledge in the consequences. Read the wiccan rede and follow it. And most importantly, I believe you should tell your family your choice, I know it's hard, but it's well worth it.^_^
